The Executive Committee member of the Palestine Liberation Organization, Hanan Ashrawi, condemned the Israeli bombardment of blockaded Gaza Strip on Sunday, which left three children dead.
The Israeli occupation army has been attacking Palestinian children; Israel’s continuing campaign of excessive and indiscriminate violence against the people of Gaza has persisted with impunity and has been revived by the strategic alliance of Tel Aviv with the current US Administration, the official said.
Ashrawi added that the infants were killed for allegedly attempting to sabotage the border fence and be involved in the placement of an improvised explosive device by the fence.
The official of the Palestine Liberation Organization noted that since last March, more than 200 Palestinians, including 37 children, have died in the Gaza Strip and thousands have been injured by Israeli forces.
