LA PAZ, Bolivia.- The President of Bolivia, Evo Morales, welcomed the massive participation in the electoral rehearsal in Venezuela, with a view to the general elections of May 20.

The Bolivian leader highlighted the participation of citizens and the modern voting system used, adding that these aspects will guarantee the right to vote of Venezuelans in a democratic manner and with a high degree of transparency.

The massive citizen participation and the use of technology for voting guarantee that next May 20, the right to suffrage is exercised according to its Constitution, Morales wrote on his Twitter account.

The National Electoral Council of Venezuela activated 500 centers and 1,200 polling stations throughout the country to conduct a test for upcoming elections, which are expected to be successful.
