Santiago de Cuba, Cuba.- A first group of Cuban collaborators providing health services in Ecuador returned home on Tuesday from Guayaquil, and were received by the highest authorities of this eastern province.

A total of 115 professionals make up the Cuban medical brigade in Ecuador, whose government terminated health agreements with Cuba.

Beatriz Jhonson, member of the Council of State and president of the Santiago de Cuba government, highlighted at the Antonio Maceo International Airport the humanitarian work carried out by the Cuban collaborators, particularly with the most needy sectors of society.
