Havana, Cuba.- The Cuban Minister of Public Health, José Ángel Portal Miranda, participates this Monday in the 73rd World Health Assembly, which is held every year from Geneva.

The on-line event will take place virtually due to the COVID-19 pandemic that is confronting humanity, and the central theme of this year’s edition will be the international community’s battle against the disease caused by the SARS-CoV-2 virus.

Health authorities present their experiences in this regard, and a declaration of support for the fight against this new disease will be issued.

Dr. Portal Miranda speaks at 10:30 (local time) and shares Cuba’s experiences in the fight against this silent enemy.
