Havana, Cuba.-  Cuban authorities today described as successful the national days for the defense of the country, an initiative of the doctrine of the war of all the people in the case of a foreign invasion.

On Saturday and Sunday, command bodies were established for each zone, municipality and provincial council.

The maneuvers included practical and theoretical exercises and the intervention of production and defense brigades, as well as members of the Revolutionary Armed Forces and the Ministry of Interior.

To this were added university students, who in different parts of the Cuban archipelago carried out infantry shooting practices, among other forms of participation.

Cuba, with a long list of attacks by the United States, adopted the doctrine of the war of all the people in the defense of the country even before the military intervention of the largest military power on the planet, just 90 miles from Cuban coasts.
