HAVANA, Cuba. – The eleventh International Congress of Higher Education 2018 University began this Monday its working sessions in Havana, with the assistance of more than two thousand Cuban and foreign delegates from 60 countries.

With the motto The University and the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development in the Centenary of the Cordoba Reform, the forum will become a space for meeting, dialogue and debate of the most pressing problems of the sector in the world.

Jose Ramon Saborido, Minister of Higher Education, explained to Radio Reloj that the 2018 University Congress will favor the updating and the exchange of the institutions according to the society.

Saborido pointed out that the meeting will examine the improvement of university curricula and the social relevance of universities.
