HAVANA, Cuba.- Delaware’s Secretary of Agriculture, Michael Scuse, said the producers of that American state want open doors to trade with Cuba and rejected the position of the current US Administration towards the island, Prensa Latina says.

The official considered it unfortunate that Donald Trump’s government has decided to adopt measures that reverse the rapprochement initiated between the two countries during Barack Obama’s Administration.

Regarding the agricultural sector, opportunities are not only for producers in the United States, but also for Cubans to be able to export to the northern nation.

Scuse argued that his agricultural sector wants open doors to free trade between both countries, to extend credits to producers or buyers in Cuba, and the possibility of acquiring products from the island.
