International coalition bombards with white phosphorus.

HAJIN, Syria. – A white phosphorus bombardment occurred on Monday in the Syrian city of Hajin, Deir Ezzor province, by the so-called US-led international coalition.

According to SANA Syrian agency, the attack perpetrated with banned weapons occurred in several towns in the city under the pretext of combating the self-denominated Islamic State.

The US-led coalition used war planes to perform white phosphorus activity, labeled a chemical weapon because it can cause severe burns and produce large smoke screens.

That and other similar attacks have been repeatedly denounced by the Syrian Government because of collateral damage caused, such as fatalities and destruction of infrastructure.
