Migrants Wave.

MEXICO DF, Mexico.- The Mexican Navy will apply a special operation in the southern border, with the purpose of deterring and impeding the passage of migrants, according to information from the Security Cabinet.

So far security in the area was in charge of the Federal Police, unarmed, which did not prevent the entry of several thousand Central American migrants, who entered the country without the documents required by national laws.

Mexican officials announced they will seek a way to not set a precedent on the southern border, because although Mexico does not yield to the pressures of the United States, it also seeks ways to tackle the risks of this migratory flow of people.

They also said they will not suspend humanitarian aid, the following up on the revision of the migratory situation, nor the analysis of more than 1600 applications for refuge, especially by Honduran migrants.
