Lula da Silva vows to revokeTemer´s policies.
BRAZILIA, Brazil. – The former president of Brazil, Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva, said last Sunday if he is elected president in 2018, he will conduct a referendum to revoke the measures approved by the interim representative Michel Temer.
During an interview, Lula pointed out that Brazil must be governed again by thinking of majorities and not of a few, after accusing Temer of privatizing the South American country.
Lula commented, Although many people know how to rule no one knows how to care for the neediest people as I do, I know what they need. The former President also pointed out, if they believed that a conviction would get me off the idea of being a candidate, they achieved the opposite effect.
The Brazilian politician was questioned for alleged money laundering crimes and passive corruption linked to Petrobras Company, which he called a farce because they have not found a single prove to indict him.
