BRAZILIA, Brazil.- The former President of Brazil Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva will Give to Folha of Sao Paulo newspaper his first interview since he began to comply political prison 175 days ago.

The media was authorized by the Minister of the Supreme Federal Court, Ricardo Lewandovski to interview the historical leader and founder of Workers’ Party with video and audio capture.

Lewandowski comply thus a complaint of the Folha da Manha Company and Monica Bergamo against an act of the judge of the Twelfth Federal Room of Curitiba, which had denied the request of interview, imposing censure on the journalistic activity and mitigating the freedom of expression.

Since last April 7 Lula has been a political prisoner at the Federal Police Superintendence in the city of Curitiba, capital of the state of Parana, where he began to serve in advance a 12-year sentence.
