Lula Da Silva will face another interrogation

BRAZILIA, Brazil.- Former Brazilian President Luis Inacio Lula da Silva, prisoner for seven months in Curitiba, faces another interrogation this Wednesday as part of the Lava Jato Operation investigating cases of corruption.

Judicial circles reported that for the first time since his arrest in April, Lula will leave his cell and move to the headquarters of the federal Justice, where he will respond in a hearing to questions of new judge Gabriela Hardt, who leads Lava Jato.

In the face of accusations, the founder of the Workers’ Party insists that he is a victim of real political persecution and that he will fight to the end for his dignity.

Lula describes the process carried out by Judge Moro as a farce mounted on a series of lies, and said that the sentence will give him the opportunity to prove his innocence and show that the magistrate and prosecutors of Lava Jato committed an injustice.
