
Costa Rica announces generation of jobs and investments.
SAN JOSE, Costa Rica.-The President of Costa Rica, Carlos Alvarado, announced this Sunday that starting this week he will announce new jobs and investments, as well as infrastructure and housing projects.
Alvarado asked the legislature to support with projects that boost employment, public investment and economic stability, while asking the private sector to continue to rely on the country.
The Costa Rican President instructed the executive to do everything available to facilitate the conditions of employment generation, expedite procedures, provide credit and address the indebtedness of individuals and small businesses.
President Alvarado’s call relates directly to the high unemployment in Costa Rica today, 12%, and the population points it out as one of the main problems the Government must solve.
