BARCELONA, Catalonia.- The Catalan regional President, Quim Antorra, issued an ultimatum to the head of the Spanish government, Pedro Sanchez, for the realization of a referendum agreed, binding and internationally recognized of self-determination before November, or he will withdraw his support in the Congress.
He added to Parliament that Catalonia´s patience is not infinite and the margin of Pedro Sanchez is over, and added that if in a month he does not present a proposal, no stability will be guaranteed in Congress.
The socialist leader came to power after a motion of censure against conservative Mariano Rajoy, but he only has 84 deputies on 350, so its governability depends on the Basques and the Catalan Independentists.
However, the central Executive responded that they do not admit any ultimatums, Government Spokeswoman Minister Isabel Celaa said.
