BUENOS AIRES, Argentina.- In a conflict that in the last two years has tightened the beginning of the school year, teachers in Buenos Aires continue to demand better salaries and six localities reached an agreement.

The struggle of the Argentine teachers in the wage negotiations where they ask to raise salaries for the acquisition loss in these months after dollar rise and inflation, affect that sector and also the families.

While the Teaching Association of the city of Buenos Aires will carry out an assembly with all its members to know whether or not they will go to a strike, in the province of the same name the local government and guilds will return to the dialogue table for the third time.

In six other provinces, the teachers ‘ unions reached an agreement, in another twelve negotiations still continue and in other districts they have not started yet.
