LA PAZ, Bolivia.- Latin American co-President of EuroLat Elias Castillo highlighted Bolivia’s struggle for the defense of environment and social equity, as well as the economic development achieved by that country in recent years.
Castillo described as an honor that the Euro-Latin American assembly is held in this territory, where several pre-Columbian cultures have flourished and fortunately they maintain their validity and their deeply rooted values in land.
In addition, the co-President of EuroLat referred to the improvement experienced by Bolivia regarding economic indicators in recent years, and the benefit to the people, which respond to the human development index of the United Nations.
According to official data, the Bolivian economy recorded an average growth of 4, 9 percent up to 2017.
