HAVANA, Cuba.- Miguel Diaz-Canel Bermudez, President of the Councils of State and Ministers, attended the annual balance of the National Institute of Sport, Physical Education and Recreation of Cuba (INDER), at La Pradera International Health Center.
Olga Lidia Tapia, member of the Secretariat of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Cuba, and Roberto Leon, President of the Cuban Olympic Committee, also attended the meeting, together with executives of the central organism and the provinces, glories of Cuban sport and other guests.
The participants analyzed the difficulties and successes of 2018, and the preparation for the Pan American Games of Lima 2019 and for Tokyo Olympics 2020.
According to the latest official report released, Cuba has already 361 athletes classified in 25 sports for the Peruvian multi-sport event.
