Havana, cuba.- Researcher at the University of Arts of Cuba Ydelsis Garcia said that the ideas of the leader of the Cuban Revolution, Fidel Castro, is today a source of inspiration for new generations seeking to build a better world .
Fidel’s example -which belonged to Orthodox youth and had the merit of agglutinating the well-known Centennial Generation- reached the social movements of the region, Garcia told Prensa Latina.
Today Latin America is experiencing a special moment in its history, and youth play an important role in the current circumstances, he said.
‘Youth is the mobilizing mass of all revolutionary actions,’ said the professor of the so-called Higher Institute of Art (ISA).
At present it is vital to support the battles that are being fought by young people in the region to achieve the much-needed social changes, Garcia said.
