Havana, Cuba.-The 4th International Festival of Social Communication, a space for the exchange of experiences among professionals of this science, is taking place as of today at the Conference Center in this capital.

The event will run until July 20. According to its organizers, it will involve executives, technicians, specialists, and teachers who work in the different disciplines of the social communication.

Its main issues are brand management, strategic communication, self-regulation in communication and the role of research in the success of marketing campaigns.

The meeting will also be a favorable moment so specialists and teachers of Social Communication can discuss the current state and perspectives of this discipline in the world, mainly in Ibero-American nations.

This event was convened by the Cuban Association of Social Communicators. Its third edition took place in July 2016 with the participation of more than 450 delegates from 10 countries.
