SANCTI SPIRITUS, Cuba. – More than 70 percent of those affected by Hurricane Irma in Sancti Spiritus province acquired equipment and items assigned by the Cuban State.

Specialists of the Trade Business Group explained that according to controls, more than 1200 families already acquired the induction modules for cooking paying only half of their usual price, since the remainder was assumed by the State funds.

As part of the decision to contribute to people not being left homeless because of the loss caused by the meteorological phenomenon, almost 400 mattresses were distributed at no cost, when the free delivery of the same was approved.

They continue at Sancti Spíritus the work to eliminate the aftermath of Hurricane Irma that mainly affected the villages of Yaguajay municipality.
