VARADERO, Matanzas. – Manuel Marrero, Minister of Tourism, announced the incorporation of Cayo Santamaria facilities, damaged by Hurricane Irma, to the high season on November 1st.

During the first International Scientific Conference of the Central University of Las Villas, in Varadero, Marrero highlighted, the interest of raising the quality of services and proposing new products.

In his speech on the second day of the event of the university, the Minister of Tourism referred to the more than four million tourists who have arrived in Cuba this year, for which they have about 78 thousand rooms.

He also reported on the intention to carry out the International Tourism Fair in Villa Clara in 2018, a province preparing for that moment.
