Yoania Acosta, of the Institute for Research and Development of Telecommunications, LACETEL, said to the press that the meeting will address topics such as multimedia and content generation; transmission and reception, regulations and standards, as well as the current state of digital television in Cuba.
Acosta noted that the Forum gave continuity to four previous editions, in which more than 100 speakers from 10 countries participated.
More than seven million Cubans have digital terrestrial signal coverage, and more than one million digital television receivers have been marketed.
