HAVANA, Cuba.- The First Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Cuba, Army General Raul Castro Ruz, this Tuesday morning with the President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolas Maduro Moros, who was visiting Cuba.

Later Raul saw Maduro off at Jose Marti International Airport and sent him a greeting from Cuban President Miguel Diaz-Canel Bermudez, who at that time headed a meeting of the Council of Ministers.

This visit of the Bolivarian President coincided with the 18th anniversary of the Cuba-Venezuela Comprehensive Cooperation Agreement, founded by Commanders Fidel Castro Ruz and Hugo Chavez Frias.

This agreement favored the birth four years of Bolivarian Alliance for the Peoples of our America (ALBA).
