HAVANA, Cuba. – Near this Thursday midnight, Army General Raul Castro Ruz, President of the Councils of State and Ministers, received Nicolas Maduro Moros, President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, at Jose Marti International Airport.

Maduro arrived in Cuba accompanied by First Combatant Cilia Flores, to make delivery this Friday of a donation to Cuba which will help to compensate the damages caused by the passage of Hurricane Irma, Granma newspaper reports.

Cuban First Vice President Miguel Diaz-Canel Bermudez also welcomed the Venezuelan President and his companion.
