HOLGUIN, Cuba.- More than a hundred workers of the Power Company in Holguin left this Tuesday to Villa Clara province to support the recovery of the service in that central territory, intensely flogged by Hurricane Irma.

With its own means and full autonomy, the contingent includes brigades of electricians, service and multipurpose vehicles, generators, cooks, designers, engineers and communications equipment, as the Center of Attention to the Client reported.

Maria de los Angeles Hidalgo, head of Communication of the Power Company in Holguin, said recovery efforts in the territory are advancing on the basis of the established strategy.

With the entry into service of Felton Central Thermoelectric and the generation groups distributed, Holguin reaches about 90 per cent of availability of the electricity service.
