TOKYO, Japan.- Roberto Morales, Vice-President of the Cuban Council of Ministers, attended a cultural evening in Japan on the occasion of the 90th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Havana and Tokyo.

According to the Cuban Embassy in Japan, a broad representation of authorities of the Japanese government, the political, economic-commercial sector, among others, gathered there to celebrate the date.

The Cuban Embassy published on social media that the Minister of State for Foreign Affairs recognized the long friendship between the two countries, and made vows for their continued strengthening.

On behalf of the Cuban Government, the ambassador of the island highlighted that the will to deepen bilateral ties persists on both sides, for the benefit of both peoples and considering shared challenges and interests.
