SANTIAGO DE CUBA, Cuba. – The second international colloquium titled Hugo Chavez Frias, the Passion Uniting Us, concluded this Wednesday in Santiago de Cuba with a statement supporting the just cause of Venezuela and its people.

Alexis Guerra, specialist of the Cuban Institute of Friendship with People, remarked the strong decision to support that nation, in full struggle for its Constituent Assembly and in the face of an economic and media war.

During the international colloquium, four bodies received the Hugo Chavez Frias for their contribution to the preservation of the revolutionary thought of the leader of the Bolivarian Revolution.

Two of these institutions were Hugo Chavez Frias Honorary Chair from the Stomatology School of Santiago de Cuba, and the specialized classroom with the same name from the Humanities Faculty of the University of Oriente.
