HAVANA, Cuba.- According to the Cuban Electoral Law, the Committees for the Defense of the Revolution (CDR) presented in its national plenary more than for hundred fifty proposals of candidates for delegates to the provincial assemblies of the People´s Power and of deputies to the Parliament.

Alden Rafael Sanjudo, representative of the CDR in the National Candidacy Commission, explained in the proposals it was present the characteristic heterogeneity of the mass organization.

Sanjudo said they previously did a preparatory work in the provinces, where proposals were organized on the basis of the interests of the territories and the representativeness they wished to have in Parliament.

The provincial plenaries began in the second week of October, in the third one it took place the national assembly and the municipal meetings will be carried out as the nomination assemblies conclude.
