HAVANA, Cuba. – Taking into account the battle for the recovery in the country, the national coordinator of the Committees for the Defense of the Revolution (CDR), Carlos Rafael Miranda, convened a day of mass mobilization, with the purpose of contributing to the sanitization and rehabilitation of public areas.
We have a responsibility to take the streets of our communities and transform them, Miranda said.
The National Directorate of the Committees for the Defense of the Revolution, sympathizes with those people affected by the passage of Hurricane Irma.
The institution also welcomes the assistance provided to those needing refuge, so the anniversary 57 of the CDR on September 28 will be devoted to those days of recovery.
The National Coordinator of CDR, Carlos Rafael Miranda, pointed out that in this phase of recovery we must remember the founder of our organization, Fidel Castro, just as the anniversary is approaching. The organization advocates the need for the Cuban family to contribute to the recovery of schools and workplaces located in every area of residence, especially in the central provinces and the capital. Miranda emphasized that the CDR is more useful than ever in each neighborhood, because it characterizes by responding to the call of the Revolution in difficult times. The National Coordinator of the Committees of Defense of the Revolution reaffirmed the words of President Raul Castro Ruz when he expressed that despite the damage caused by Hurricane Irma, once again we will go ahead.
