Havana, Cuba.- The largest Premium cigar festival in the world, the Habano Cigar Festival, begins on Monday in Havana with a very special quality reinforced by the attention of at least 1,000 people from 70 countries.

The meeting will take place at the Conference Center in Havana and will run until February 22. The event includes everything in terms of the Cuban tobacco industry, as visits to plantations and factories, spectacular competitions and the presentation of the most outstanding new features in progress.

This occasion is very special because it happens on occasion of the 500th anniversary of Havana, on November 16, 2019, and therefore all celebrations in Cuba point to that date.

The program focuses on the knowledge of Habano, its culture, and the enjoyment of the main presentations of the aforementioned corporation, in an international and exclusive environment.

The Habanos brands with special prominence are San Cristobal de La Habana, which commemorates its 20th Anniversary and the 500th anniversary of Havana.

Hoyo de Monterrey and Trinidad brands, the latter one of the most admired ones within the Habanos portfolio, are also honored.

The initiatives that gave fame to the annual event will be also repeated during this Festival’s edition.

The 21st Habano Cigar Festival will close on February 22, with an evening full of passion for Habano cigars, the official statement says.
