CARACAS, Venezuela. – Venezuelan women and mothers supporting the Bolivarian Revolution concentrated this Tuesday in the Bolívar Square, to express their rejection of the use of children and teenagers in violent actions promoted by the extreme right.
The call also urges for peace and the cessation of violence which, in the last eighty days, left over eighty people dead and nearly two thousand wounded, as well as considerable economic losses in that South American nation.
The Capital District’s Foundation for Children and Teenagers presented a hundred complaints to the public prosecutor about the violation of fundamental rights of minors.
In Venezuela, visits are made to communities to curb these actions, to provide attention to people, and to train them so that they do not allow children’s rights to be violate.
