CARACAS, Venezuela. – The Venezuelan Chancellery rejected on Monday the interventionist statements of the High Representative for Foreign Policy of the European Union, Federica Mogherini for meddling in the internal affairs and sovereign decisions of Venezuela.

A communiqué from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs repudiated those expressions that demonstrates once again the marked bias of the Community bloc towards a minority opposition sector.

The document stresses that the declarations of the chief of Diplomacy of the EU demonstrate the total ignorance of the will of the great majority who continue deciding Venezuela´s fate peacefully.

The Venezuelan Chancellery reiterates the attachment to the principles of a participatory and leading democracy, respect for human rights and the willingness to resolve any differences through dialogue.
