The terrorists blew up themselves in the midst of people in a market.

BAGHDAD, Iraq. – At least 17 dead and more than 20 wounded left a suicide attack directed at a mall at the Nahrawan district in Iraq.

The attack was vindicated by the self-styled Islamic State, through its Amaq propaganda agency. The terrorist group explained the target were the forces of Hashad al-Shaabi, mostly integrated by Shia, followers of a branch of Islam other than members of extremist formation.

Five kamikaze men attacked the shops in the Nahrawan area, southeast of Baghdad, and three were shot down by the Iraqi security forces, but the other two blew up themselves.

A Police captain pointed out that 31 other civilians and two members of the security forces were injured in the suicide attack in Baghdad.
