Caracas, Venezuela.- Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro thanked today the solidarity shows with Venezuela during the 24th Meeting of the Sao Paulo Forum, held in Havana, Cuba, from July 15 to 17.

Through a message published on the social network Twitter, the President ratified the will to continue along the path of the unity of the Latin American and Caribbean peoples.

‘I thank the fraternal peoples for the solidarity expressed in the 24th Meeting of the Sao Paulo Forum. We will continue together in the path of our revolutionary leaders with a unified vision in Latin America and the Caribbean,’ the head of State tweeted.

That mechanism of concertation of the Latin American left rejected the economic blockade imposed by the United States government against Venezuela, as well as the interventionist campaigns undertaken against the South American country.

In his speech on the final day of the event, Maduro addressed the situation of his country, subjected to an internal and external aggression, with the United States government as a protagonist, a crusade that includes the danger of a military aggression.
