Cuban Ambassador in Iran Vladimir Gonzalez Quesada (left).

TEHRAN, Iran. – Friends of Cuba in Iran bid farewell to the ambassador of the Caribbean nation in the Persian country, Vladimir Gonzalez Quesada, during a meeting held at the Cuban diplomatic venue in Tehran.

Gonzalez Quesada has served his fourth and final year at the head of the Cuban Mission and praised the work of the Association of Friendship Iran-Cuba and the House of Latin America, whose directors attended the ceremony.

The Cuban ambassador described both groups as fundamental pillars in the promotion of friendship and solidarity with the Cuban Government and people.

On his part, Hamid Shahrabi, head of the House of Latin America, thanked the support and collaboration of the Cuban Embassy, while the president of the Association of Friendship Iran-Cuba, Hadi Khansari, said that in these ten years he always saw unity among the Cubans which makes their revolution indestructible.
