PARIS, France.- The Cuba Cooperation France Association (CUBACOP) advocated to reinforce solidarity with the Caribbean nation in the difficult times it lives today, following the passage of devastating Hurricane Irma.

The group indicated in a statement, Hurricane Irma, the most violent and destructive in Cuba since 1932, has hit the island for 36 hours, and 14 of its 16 provinces have been affected, which demonstrates the exceptional magnitude.

CUBACOP indicated that at this time Cuba needs the support and solidarity of friends in the world, so the association began to mobilize to send material help.

Despite the serious affections suffered in Cuba, authorities and citizens work tirelessly in order to return to normal as soon as possible.
