ESTRASBURGO, France. – The European Fair of Strasbourg, specialized in business and commerce, was inaugurated this Friday in that Eastern French city with Cuba as the protagonist of this edition 85.

The opening ceremony was attended by the French Minister of Foreign Affairs, Jean-Yves Le Drian, and the Havana Ambassador in Paris, Hector Igarza, and an occasion in which the bonds of friendship between both countries were highlighted.

During the act they were specially mentioned the many common points between Cuba and the Alsace region, located in the east of France and whose capital is Strasbourg.

In this sense it was alluded the shared vocation for the preservation and admiration of history, as well as the interest in the development of the biotechnology industry. In the afternoon the pavilion dedicated to Cuba will open, with the attendance of Le Drian and Igarza.
