
The Venezuelan Chancellor denounced at the United Nations the aggressions against migrants.
NEW YORK, USA. – Venezuela’s Chancellor Jorge Arreaza denounced, at the UN, xenophobia to Venezuelan migrants who decide to leave the country because of the blockade of the United States, which affects the economic life of the nation.
The head of Venezuelan diplomacy spoke during the High-Level meeting organized by Turkey and entitled Countering Hate Speech, held as part of the Session of the General Assembly of the United Nations.
The UN member states attending the event called for the cessation of hate speech for race, religion and origin, and rejected prejudice against Islamism as it is a violation of human rights.
Caracas Chancellery reiterated its complaint about the attacks on Venezuelan migrants, victims as well as exploitation and discrimination to get work or studies.
