Trump presses to build a wall in the Mexican border.

WASHINGTON, USA – Lawmakers from the two major US parties rejected President Donald Trump’s threats this Wednesday on provoking a partial closure of the government if it does not get funds for his border wall with Mexico.

The minority leader in the Senate, Chuck Schumer, said if the president follow that path against the desires of Republicans, Democrats and the majority of the people, he will head toward a government shutdown that won’t accomplish anything.

The highest figure of the Blue Party in the House of Representatives, Nancy Pelosi, noted that Trump values harming communities to force taxpayers to finance the inefficient and costly wall.

Trump intends to include the cost of the Mexican wall in next year’s budget, but the Democrats are not willing to budge, and Red Party members need at least ten of their votes to endorse the project.
