HAVANA, Cuba.- President Miguel Diaz-Canel Bermudez  attended the Balance Assembly of the Ministry of Economy and Planning that reviewed the work of that entity in 2018.

The Deputy President of the Council of Ministers, Ricardo Cabrisas, the Vice-President of the Council of State Gladys Bejerano, the Secretary General of the Workers’ Central Union of Cuba, Ulises Guilarte de Nacimiento, and Jorge Cuevas, member of the Secretariat of the Communist Party of Cuba, were also present in the meeting.

During the balance assembly, Minister of Economy and Planning Alejandro Gil, detailed the work of the body, which among other issues ensures the investments and the progress of the Plan of Economy.

Also, the meeting discusses on the computerization of the Ministry, which already has a website and a presence in Twitter social network.
