BEIJING, China.- As an example of a strategic vision to ensure efficiency and transparency, Cuba expressed in China the support for the anti-corruption initiative in the projects linked to the Strip and the Route.

When speaking in a meeting on the subject, Gladys Bejerano, Vice-President of the Cuban State Council, highlighted that the so-called Clean Route defines control and prevention as key elements.

Bejerano expressed her country’s support for the statement presented at the meeting and the greatest willingness to contribute so the initiative growth robust, with efficiency, transparency and ethical probity.

The UN Convention against Corruption, Bejerano recalled, is an appropriate instrument to combat crime and commented that the procedures implemented by that global body have provided very positive results.
