Cultural greeting from Cuba to the United Kingdom.

HAVANA, Cuba.- Charles, Prince of Wales and heir to the British Crown, and his wife Camilla, Duchess of Cornualles, witnessed at   Garcia Lorca Hall of Alicia Alonso Great Theatre of Havana the gala organized in their honor by the Ministry of Culture.

Culture Minister Alpidio Alonso accompanied in the presidential box to the Royal Highnesses of the United Kingdom and Northern Ireland, who conclude this Wednesday a historic and intense visit to Havana, close to its 500 years.

It corresponded to the National Ballet of Cuba to begin the function of homage, in which the National Folklore Ensemble, Contemporary Dance of Cuba, Acosta Dance and Santiago Alfonso Company also intervened

The gala passed from Romantic ballet to the African roots of Cuban nationality and from the vibrant dynamics of contemporary dance to the vital and elegant conga, as a warmly greeting from the scene.
