The Attorney General office of the Spanish State accused today the authorities of Catalonia of rebellion and sedition, for their alleged responsibility in the unilateral Declaration of Independence approved by the Parliament of that region.

The head of the Spanish government, Mariano Rajoy, called the president of Catalonia, Carles Puigdemont for composure, to avoid imposing drastic measures against that autonomous community, which aims to become a sovereign state.
