Havana, Cuba. – The thirty-seven athletes chosen to form Cuba´s team to 2017 Can-AM independent Baseball League begins their training on Tuesday at the Latin American Stadium in Havana.
They will have five days of work and a break, Carlos Lois, chief technical officer of the Baseball National Direction, added the 21 days lead to seek the necessary teamwork. “It is a few days and we are going to insist on technical-tactical aspects”, he added.
Among the pre-selected, there are two catchers, four box players and the same number of pitchers attending the previous edition.
Roger Machado will take again the reins of the team that won 10 games and lost nine in the previous version of the Can-Am League.
