ISLE OF YOUTH, Cuba. – A group of Mozambicans who studied on the Isle of Youth and returned after so many years remarked that thanks to the Revolution and its leader Fidel Castro Ruz they contribute today to the development of their nation.

Feliciano Inguane said that studying in the Samora Machel High School was something important; he learned the value of friendship and obtained the basis for his training. Baptista Ismael Machaiepe recalled Fidel’s visit to the center and how the flags waved in the same direction that day.

The alumni of Mozambique exchanged in the House of Friendship of the Island of Youth with professors and executives, and expressed that they usually meet in their country and support Cuba, where they received knowledge and values to do good.

Those students were the first ones in the world to join the international schools program in the Isle of Youth.
