BAYAMO, Cuba.- Patriotic, cultural, recreational and political activities take place this week in plains and mountains of Granma province to homage Fidel, in occasion of the 91th of his birth next August 13.
A special meeting was held this morning in the seat of the Provincial committee of the Party in Bayamo, to evoke the legacy, the work and ideas of the Commander-in-Chief, Federico Hernandez said.
The first secretary of the Party in Granma said that the Young Communist League of Cuba organizes the program by Fidel´s birth and confirmed that the new generations will keep the Cuban revolution undefeated.
Hernandez highlighted the presence of Fidel in Granma when he landed with eighty-one companions in Playa Las Coloradas, and recalled that his last visit to the province was eleven years ago when he closed the national act for July 26.
