SIERRA DE CUBITAS, Camaguey.- The Vice-Minister of the Revolutionary Armed Forces, Army Corps General Ramon Espinosa Martin, visited coastal areas in the municipality of Sierra de Cubitas, in Camaguey province, to check recovery actions after the passage of Hurricane Irma.
The also chief of the Strategic Region of the Eastern Army toured the towns of La Gloria and Puerto Piloto, damaged by the meteor, to define the construction of new homes.
Accompanied by the president of the Provincial Defense Council, Jorge Luis Tapia, Espinosa Martin confirmed the population´s will in the sanitation tasks to preserve health.
The Hero of the Republic of Cuba knew about the urban reorganization to be implemented in Puerto Piloto, due to the impact of climate change that could be more acute in coming years.
