President of Cuba sends condolences to Mexico.

HAVANA, Cuba. – The President of Cuba, Raul Castro, sent this Wednesday a message of condolences to Mexican head of State Enrique Peña Nieto, for the unfortunate human losses and considerable material damage caused by the earthquake occurred on the eve.

This was reported by the Cuban embassy in that nation that delivered the text, received by e-mail, to the Secretariat of Foreign Affairs.

The President of the Councils of State and of Ministers of Cuba expressed his solidarity with the authorities and the Mexican people and the disposition of the Caribbean island to assist in recovery labors.

More than 200 people lost their lives after the earthquake, which happened 12 days after another that took the lives of dozens of people in the states of Oaxaca and Chiapas.

Yesterday’s telluric movement occurred on the same day but 32 years after the earthquake causing thousands of deaths in the Mexican capital, where numerous housing buildings, hotels and hospitals collapsed.
