HAVANA, Cuba. – The National institute of Oncology and Radiobiology (INOR), in Havana develops more than forty research projects and clinical trials, some of them at international level, in close relationship with other institutions.

Dr. Lorenzo Anazagasti, deputy director of Science and teaching at INOR, said that this institution has a very strong job and is dedicated to the research on malignant tumors.

In this sense, they investigate both in the preclinical phase, in order to look for the best options of combinations, and then in the clinical application, and incorporate technologies.

The National Institute of Oncology and Radiobiology presents research projects according to the different calls of the national programs, and this year one of the purposes of the study are the main tumor sites.
