WASHINGTON, the United States. – American President Donald Trump announced the departure of his Secretary of State, Rex Tillerson, who will be replaced by the director of the Central Intelligence Agency, Mike Pompeo.

Local media qualifies the fact as a result of a complicated relationship, and Trump announced the news in his Twitter account, thanking Tillerson for his service.

White House officials consulted on the issue by the Washington Post indicated this move represents a major change in the national security team amidst the delicate negotiations with the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea.

According to the newspaper, the American President asked Tillerson to set aside, which led the chief of diplomacy to finish earlier than planned a tour of Africa.
